BRIC BraiNeoCare research group became the IEEE SMC Winners at the BR41N.IO Hackathon

I have participated in the BR41N.IO Brain-Computer Interface Virtual Hackathon held alongside the IEEE SMC 2020 Conference in Toronto, Canada, where our group was able to become the IEEE SMC Winners.

The hackathon was aimed at decoding hand gestures in Epilepsy patients using a set of electrocorticography data and we were able to successfully implement a machine learning classification algorithm (Linear Discriminant Analysis) with several pre-processing steps to achieve the required target.
