Biomedical Engineering applications are considered to be essentially important for human spaceflight systems since spaceflights are identified as a type of life-critical system. The history, evolution, and current state-of-art biomedical applications were critically presented through this talk to the young astronomers in Sri Lanka.
This invited virtual talk was presented as a part of the webinar series for the Amateur Astronomers' Society at the Institute of Astronomy, Sri Lanka to a live audience with 50+ participants.

In this interactive workshop, researchers of the biomedical research and innovation collective shared the experiences they gained by working on similar healthcare innovations that caught the attention of the world stage.
The workshop was delivered to cover the following aspects in detail: outlining the research problem with a medical background, a structured approach to developing a suitable hardware design, organizing a proper biomedical signal processing/machine learning research and effectively documenting the research progress
